I don't mean to be a grammar Nazi, but you have a typo there.

Yes, it's actually spelled "LE donjon sacrebleu!"

We are going to need clustering when Nostalrius comes back online.

Just imagine the influx of new players after all the hype this debacle has generated, talk about population BOOM

Obviously but if Nostalrius is going back online I think they'll be forced to wipe all datas for a new and legal beginning with Blizzard agreement assuming everything goes well.

Ok, so 250,000, a minority of the over 800,000 player base wants to play on an official Blizzard vanilla server. The REST of the players want to keep playing on emulated servers.

Please, release the source. At the very least, you owe this to the MaNGOS community who's code you started with in the first place. If you go make a deal with Blizzard and pilot an official vanilla server, good for you! Obviously, you will have at least 250,000 subscibers happy to join you. However, the other 2/3 of the community just want to keep playing on quality emulated servers. So, why not make EVERYONE happy, instead of just trying to make Blizzard and 1/3 of the community happy? You can release the code and make your deal with Blizzard too. Do both.

What they should / should not do is up to them...
I am particularly proud of ALL their decisions until now.
As a Nost Team fan, I would suggest to let them decide, no matter what I think.
