How can you avoid the fire stacks from Firemaw?

As a range dps is there an easy way to avoid getting the fire damage stacking debuff from Firemaw? I downloaded bigwigs but I dont think it tells me when they are about to happen, it only has an alert for shadow flame i believe.

Does anyone know a good indicator to look for to LoS at the right time and avoid getting the stacks?

if your main cast lasts 2.5 seconds you can always use exactly one before moving out again
to get the first timer simply look at the tank or other players

ofc try to reduce movement to a few yards

The stacks are added at the same rate. Look at the time left on the debuff when a new stack is added and just Line of Sight them when the time left gets close again.

Also it's every 4 seconds, and BigWigs totally gives you a sweet timer for it.

On retail, the ability was applied every 2 seconds and it was only binary resistible not partially resistible. A high amount of fire resistance would mean you had a chance of resisting the application of the debuff and therefore the damage caused. However, this server's development seems to have some discrepancies about how things actually worked.

same as holy resistance that didn't exist in vanilla :) in nostalrius exist .
