I'd have to say mage or hunter. those classes can bring utility in BG's with CC and range damage while others charge in.
any other class needs some sort of gear to not be a 1 GCD HK.

Spriests are not very gear dependent for pvp. At their base they are still very strong in pvp.

Frost mage is the obvious one, definitely the least gear dependant of all classes.
The other one is Shadow Priests as their spells have some really good base damage and PWS + Fort makes them tanky despite having a low health pool. They don't scale as well as a mage though, so if you ever decide to do Naxx at some point, a mage would be better in the long run.

I always had an easy time as a hunter with normal non twinky gear in BGs, the combination of a pet, range and various slows allows for good performance.
