Got Addicted To This K-drama
Posted: Fri Nov 11, 2016 5:12 amOk so first off I have never been interested in watching a drama show ever before, I could never understand how people could get so into them and be so die hard fans of them.
but now I understand what the dealio is and why people can get really attached to them
so I will listen to k-pop pretty regularly for the past couple years and it has gotten me interested in korean culture and all that. and 1 day in the recommended sidebar on youtube I clicked on this song called "Auditory hallucinations" I was pretty immediately hooked to it as I have never heard a song like it before. and watching the video I realized that oh, this must be scenes from a TV show or something. and I discovered that it was an original sound track made for this show called "Kill Me Heal Me"
so I started watching it and after watching the first few episodes I was completely hooked into the story and thought it was a super good show. although the first few minutes of episode 1 are really cringy because they are "in" America and there english is really bad lol. but no big deal.
Kill Me, Heal Me is a “healing romance” The human body is capable of all sorts of things to survive difficult situations. Cha Do Hyun (Ji Sung) is a third-generation business heir who developed dissociative identity disorder (previously known as multiple personality disorder) in the aftermath of several life-threatening traumatic events. He tries to regain control over his life with the help of Oh Ri Jin (Hwang Jung-eum), a first-year psychiatric resident who helps him secretly. Can Do Hyun take control over his condition before one of his seven personalities takes control over him instead?
kill me heal me, is one of those rare shows that is packed with almost all kind of emotions you look for in a good show. Suspense, mystery, romance, comedy and what not?! You will laugh, cry,smile, scream, go like "wtf" through out your journey with this show. This drama never loses its plot. It has an amazing story line. Plus the acting by all the actors is so on point.
its hard to talk about the show without giving spoilers so this general overview will have to do
Ji Sung the man acting the lead roll rightfully so won an award for his abilities in this show. probably 1 of the best acting performances I've seen, because he basically has to be 7 different people at once
I can't even speak korean so I have to watch it with english subtitles but it doesn't matter. this show is so good I am rewatching it
several of the episodes actually made me cry
