I used this before and it worked great, reset my video settings by mistake thou so i just typed everything in again..

Now i get a 1sec stutter lag everytime i open/close my map thou, any ideas?

No idea. I've never had that problem with any of these commands. Perhaps an addon is interfering? Try disabling all addons and see if that fixes it.

Just added some more details to the command timingModeOverride. It has been revised to:

timingModeOverride 1 (uses GetTickCount) 2 (uses RDTSC) 3 (uses QueryPerformanceCounter) 4 (uses timeGetTime). Experiment with which timing method gives you the smoothest gameplay. Set the value, then restart the game completely. Apparently RDTSC is the most precise timing method.

how many of the settings in the OP are the default max settings in the video options section? I already play at ultra everything so Im just wondering what will actually be improved.

About half are set to optimal values by default and the other half are tweaked higher. I include them all just in case someone accidentally changed them.

You might not see a perceivable difference if you already had most of your settings maxed. Some of these changes are subtle (sharper shadows, etc).

You might notice smoother gameplay as you use it more though. 8-)

Is there a command I can use to disable these kind of shadows from example trees in the game?
showShadow 0 doesn't change this for me
