Rolling on Nos, a few questions!

I've played Vanilla et TBC on a PvP server before cancelling, came back a few weeks ago with WoD but I'm not enjoying it as I enjoyed playing Vanilla/TBC.
I've read a lot of threads posted by newcomers but couldn't find my answers. I don't mind playing either Horde or Alliance but I'm unsure where to roll.
I like world PvP but I'm also looking toward BGs or doing 5mans at lvl 60. I've been wondering the average wait time for BGs on PvP server and PvE server. I know that PvP server have a lot of population but it's harder to quest as there is a lot of ganking (which I don't mind unless it's unplayable).
Therefore I'm looking for your experience on both servers to have a better idea where to roll.
