Updated the section on Taunt/Growl.

I forgot that the AoE versions of taunt do not change the threat table.

This ability lowers a bosses attack speed and is by far the biggest damage reducing debuff that can be on a boss.

The instinct is to say that you should have this up on every boss 100% of the time but there are many cases when this is not true. If a boss does not hit that hard and your healers are bored, you should not be using thunderclap. If the boss attacks more often, then you can be hit more for increased rage (and by extension, threat).

Wrong, its quite the contrary, if the boss hits hard then please never leave defensive stance to use thunderclap. let one of the DPS warriors or off tank put the debuff on... and if the doesnt hit hard, you can safely thunderclap.

Read the post you quoted again. Armilus simply said that thunderclap in general should be used at all times unless the boss doesnt hit hard and the healers are bored. He also mentions that you as the MT shouldnt be doing TC but that the OTs and/or Fury warriors are responsible for TC and Demoshout.

you have misstypo that you can dodge from any side enemy is attacking you, that is not true you can only Dodge/Parry/Block anything that is in front of you (180°) all these are turned off, if you are stunned yes.(only bosses can dodge from behind noone else)

Nope, wasn't a typo. Is that not correct? I was never in the habit of turning my back on mobs while tanking and don't really PvP so I'm not really sure, I was under the impression that you could dodge attacks from behind.

Great guide!

I didn't see anything about the threat generated from Revenge. It is my understanding that Revenge is the best threat per rage point (or slightly less than Shield Slam) and would be nice to see the numbers.

I also had no idea Demo Shout was bugged and didn't know that Taunting Blow worked just like Challenging Shout.

I've been using a guide about threat mechanics from Feenix forums (or somewhere like that) that I'll try and dig up to compare numbers here and there. Many things are the same, but each server has slightly different calculations or bugs for certain threat mechanics.

Lots of good info in there!

I could have sworn that I included Revenge, added.

I also posted a copy of Kenco's threat guide in the main section of the Mechanics and Classes forum, I recommend checking it out as well.

Some thing i would add here:

Post about Races and their special abilitys.

For example: Why is it good to be an Orc (axe expertise and stunresist etc.) or Dwarf(Stoneform) etc etc. and the other races.

Eventually... too busy at the moment. I want to include stuff on consumables, talents (not exact specs but why certain talents are always bad/good and why some are good in certain situations).
