First start with name, it must be Legolas, Legolass or something like it.
Secondly make 3 hunter must have macros:
1. /sorry
2. /party hunter gear
3. /party hunter weapon
Always remember that every weapon what you can use and every gear (except plate armor) is for hunters, no matter what stats it have. Examples:
1. Stamina+ intellect is pvp gear/weapon
2. Strength+agility is dungeon/raid gear/weapon
3. Stamina+agility/strength/intellect/spirit is questing gear/weapon
4. Intellect+spirit/healing/damage and healing is mend pet gear/weapon
5. +Defence is "oh shit" gear/weapon when your pet suddenly dies
6. +Arcane damage is Arcane Shot gear
7. +Shadow or Nature damage is when you use Lupos or Chimaera or scorpid. People may say that this doesnt apply for pets, but hey, you never know. Also +Nature damage is Serpent Sting gear/weapon
8. +Frost damage, becouse you can use Frost Oil in pvp
9. +Fire damage is Fiery Weapon enchant gear/weapon
10. +armor. Have you ever seen any1 raids without gear? Gear has armor, so armor matters
11. +increased stealth for Night Elves and ghostsaber users

Dont forget to need for every blue/epic weapon (that you can use and dont have or its an upgrade), becouse you need to rise your weapon skills too.
Dont worry if you run out of pet food or ammo in middle of dungeon/raid, cos thats why Blizzard made warlocks to summon hunters back when they need ammo/food or change pet.
Also BoP patterns are for need, becouse if market demand raises on some items items you can quickly change proffesions. You can never have enough gold.
Hunters are not greedy class, they are one with forest and beasts and so on. Do you want to look greedy? No? Then never greed, just click need and noone ever says that you are greedy person.
If you ever counter people who gona get mad that you need a weapon/gear/pattern (I doubt it) you can always use macro 1

I see the hunter jokes from 2006 also returned.

Bravo Nostalrius! Very Blizz-like indeed!
