(Shadow) - Looking for best raid/pvp hybrid spec

Hey!

I'll be raiding as a shadow-priest and will also do lots of pvp. The problem is that i will spend so much gold on consumes i have little interest in respeccing weekly.

Is there a spec i can pvp and raid in that doesn't give up much in either aspect? My main prio is to do as good of a job as i can for my guild, but i also want to enjoy my pvping.

I' d go fo something like this. This is my current holidays' spec till I switch back to healing soon. I did some pvp, farming and some pugs. It's not bad for all those and you can't do much more if you wanna do all of those

I know some of those talents are useless for raiding or pvp. But you can' t have everything in this life :p

That spec will not work for raiding as you will pull agro on every fight or do zero damage.

This will give you enough threat reduction but still give you vital pvp talents.

Modified the one from previous post for extra utility (both pvp and pve). Unless you have very dutiful healers an extra hand for buffing stam is always good, and frankly I have no idea why anyone would ever want to pvp without healing focus.
30% threat reduction is more than enough unless your tanks are bad. I mean you're not a warlock in AQ gear, you don't do that much damage...

he is right. i have 4/5 in silent resolve. that is more than enough. and you can make use of it for when you are healing in 5 mans occasionally.

shadow affinity is a complete waste of talent points in my opinion unless you have extremely sick gear and can hitcap without shadow focus.

Ok, I did some testing with the spec and although I lack a lot of good gear (I have anathema/benediction though and lots of bis) I did pretty well in a ZG run yesterday.

This is what I am using right now.

The single target dps is awesome (I was constantly in the first place or second place in trash), I didn't draw any threat whatsoever and I rarely went OOM (well in long fights I am still using 2 pieces of t1: belt + shoulders and laugh all you want, BUT I didn't run OOM and dps is more than decent, besides what's the use of having a few more spell damage if you run OOM in no time?). Also spirit tap is pretty usefull in fights with adds. If you can time some MBs and you got spirit tap procs it's awesome. Of course in between in bosses I used mana potion and demonic rune/dark rune or night dragon's breath.

I also noticed that with that amount of mp5 I can spam mind flay rank 1 forever so I can keep the debuff up for locks.

This was though a ZG run and I am all new to shadow priest because I was healer till now. I will try out ony and MC the couple next days and I will tell you what happens.

Full buffed I have almost 4k hp and more than 7k mana. Overall spell damage is low though and anathema is enchanted with + healing

Any thoughts? Feedback of experienced shadow priests is appreciated

It was pug. I don't know how this works to be honest hehe

But I was following SWstats and reseting before a boss and after a boss. A rogue and a warrior were really close to me on single targets. When it came to aoe of course mages and locks were off the charts, I couldn't reach them...

Why it surprises you though? In every 5-man dungeons I went so far, if there is no heavy aoe involved I top the dps. Maybe I group up with low geared people? I don't know lol

I am Eleathil. You can see that I didn't do that badly. In some bosses I was dead early so I didn't perform. In some others that I was alive I topped the dps. In trash in total I was 3rd. I even passed some mages also... And I only have 233+ spell damage if I count correctly lol
