Small question regarding Aftermath and Immolate

so, Aftermath: Gives your destruction spells 10% chance to daze the target for 5 seconds.

Can this proc on ticks of immolate, or only on the initial cast?
I wanted to test this for myself, but I'm only lv19 at the moment without the gold needed to respec and I've never played retail vanilla, so I've got no earlier experience.
