Only because they listen to Cysthen we have terrible Protection Paladins around tanking with "melee weapons" and looks terrible in Raid.

Instead saying don't listen Duki go ahead and contribute to Topic like i did :

Because you said Consecration scales with attack power here. That being said you shouldn't even need a spell weapon seeing as I tanked in a time where Consecration scaled with attack power. You can use consumables and juju str/ap, firewater etc. Threat is probably fine here and Thunderfury's proc makes you take less damage which is much more important than over threating if aggro is already fine to begin with.

80 flat damage + AP scaled.

here you don't have 80 flat damage that will get increased by AP.

You have here 48 flat damage that increases by AP.

now enjoy the difference.
