Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I am having an issue connecting to the server. Whenever I try to log in to my account I get stuck at "Authenticating" for about 15 - 30 seconds a which point it disconnects me. I have given the program firewall access, made sure the realm.txt is correct, restarted computer and it still does it.

Can anyone provide me with some insight? Thanks in advance.

yeah man try setting your realmlist to "set realmlist login2.nostalrius.org" that worked for me

Check the name of realm you're connected(right bot part of your screen) maybe you're trying to connect Dev realm... Then you need to delete "realm" in WoW config.

Same here, for half an hour cant get in, same issues as Bobert.
The server try to connect is the same Nostarlius Begins, played already for a week or so, did not change anything.. just log out and when tryed to get in... nothing

Tried connecting myself today - downloaded the virgin WoW provided, checked realmlist to be alright, tried connecting, gets stuck @ Authenticating & then just "Disconnected". Granted i don't remember every little detail of Vanilla, the only reason servers would be responding in this manner is if they're offline, restarting or just too full without having any other predefined response other than getting stuck in the Authenticating/Disconnected cycle.
I'd love to know which is the case or if i'm wrong, what is the reason for this behaviour

Try set realmlist login2.nostalrius.org it should work

This has been happening on and off for me for the past 3 days. Sometimes I get random lag, I dc and then I can't get back on for atleast an hour
