Wintrading Drama (srs shiet)

To the attention of Nostalrius Management,

I shall try through this petition to shed some light into the current situation in a decent manner and without insulting anyone, although you can rest assured that I am, like many others, outraged.

First of all, you may have noticed that some forum posts containing a rather valuable and important amount of evidence has somehow managed to "vanish" from the forums in a magical and convenient manner. All this evidence was provided with effort by a handful of players with whom I have previously played and I can firmly confirm that it had the sole purpose of improving the PvP experience, which was already suffering - admit it or not, it's the truth - from a flawed queue system. The proof itself was relevant, but let's leave that aside for now. Even the initiative itself of gathering proof, put in effort and explain the way it works to the staff should have raised questions about a malicious behavior infringing on the ToU.

Furthermore, I will argue that the applied bans had to be founded on consistent evidence, since we cannot accept bans being handed out randomly, based on scarce or unverified information. If this is not how Nostalrius Staff handles things, then all this is futile anyhow and would fuel the already widespread feeling of unjustice.

This being said, the community has surely done it's part in identifying the cases and disclosing it on the forums while the staff has wrongfully deleted it's efforts by removing the threads containing a large amount of proof with regard to the wintrade situation between the chinese premades. I can tell you that even as I write this post the abovementioned players are gathering additional information and proof to support
their report.

On the other hand, you cannot ignore the community reaction which has by far surpassed anything yet. The community is outraged and you are forced to take that into consideration. Your are commiting a blatant mistake if you believe all those reactions are not based on a strong belief that the wintrade was actualy happening, belief confirmed by a several a thorough research performed by players with the available means.

But rest assured, the solution to all this rioting is easier then you may think. At this point, after the community has done everything in it's power to disclose the ToU infringements, after talking and obtaining what would be called a testimony out of countless respectable players about the wintrade situation, after gathering a large amount of data confirming wintrade, after you, the managing team, have apparently confirmed it by banning 12 accounts, the least u owe is provide us with evidence that they are indeed innocent.

Otherwise, the so called "innoncence" of the alliance chinese prem would only be considered "nothing more then just hearsay", and from the perspective I just pointed out, would be well justified.

I've seen the evidence myself, I know many that are outraged by the lifted ban.. I'm disappointed, a staff that is known for dropping the ban hammer (cause well Free To Play, that's understandable), I was at least confident that if we caught cheaters/exploiters, I'd know for certain they'd be dealt with. Which was what I thought was done here until the lifted ban. They do not deserve a lifted ban, whatsoever. I'm in complete agreement with OP.

Nostalrius dont care what the community thinks, never have and never will. They are pissing on the community once again with this bullshit of lifted bans when it is proven what is happening and the players unbaned admiting to what have been happening. They ban players for shitty crap and lift bans on players that is acually hurting the server, GOOD JOB destroying your own rep.
