Be Warned

by smilkovpetko » Fri Mar 25, 2016 7:27 pm

I would like to share what i everyday receive from my "high" protection in my pc.

So this doesn't happen on another website , but when i come to Nost forums , anytime i login , after successful logins when i check around links it pop up random "windows" and is blocked automatic by my Antivirus with security reason

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
has blocked a potentially malicious website.

https://www.malwarebytes.org/lp/ip-bloc ... block=true

i hope this will help Nost team to solve their "hackers" issue.

p.s i recommend toward everyone to use malwarebytes for security reason to prevent hackers.
Thank you.

That is a false positive. I also got the same "IP blocked" message.

https://ipinfo.io/216.58.216.99
http://www.viewwhois.com/216.58.216.99
http://www.traceip.net/ip_address/216.58.216.99
http://iphostinfo.com/216.58.216.99

"Detection, 3/25/2016 8:43 AM, SYSTEM, UZEPHI-PC, Protection, Malicious Website Protection, Domain, 216.58.216.99, ssl.gstatic.com, 0, Outbound, C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe, "

Quoted text is the snippet from the log. As you can plainly see, it is chrome "phoning home" for Google Adsense and other Services.

Please provide evidence and research before claiming it is a site that is malicious.

Edit: Also below is the recent results of my scan with the same Mbam software showing no threats on PC.

Edit 2: Have you checked the Malwarebytes forum?

https://forums.malwarebytes.org/topic/1 ... staticcom/

Recent database update blocked gstatic.com which is Google's Adsense and other Google Services.

Also, read this from Superuser forums:

http://superuser.com/questions/64716/i- ... hat-domain

A quick google search of the blocked domain and/or IP would show you this block was a false positive and a database error on Mbam's end.
