Meeting Stones as Summoning Stones

I like to see 'Meeting Stones' as 'Summoning Stones' ingame.
As a PvE player i would love that feature.

Don't know what you guys think about this?

This is actually one non-blizzlike vanilla feature I wouldn't mind seeing in-game.

From what I remember at the beta starts, it was available then they deleted it because the PvP boys wanted to be able to kill people on the way to their dungeons.
But it might be my memory that is bad (about the reason, I'm pretty sure that we could use the stone to TP groupmates except at the end of the beta)

I could see where they're coming from, at least the world pvp perspective of things. And my favourite thing in all of WoW has always been random encounters in world pvp. But then again, if they really need their ganking fix, they could always just camp around the meeting stones. But I would agree that is much less fun (probably for both the gankers and the victims) than randomly running into someone or hunting down players.

How is it not part of "Blizzlike"?

Patch 3.3.0 (08-Dec-2009):
To use any Meeting Stone, it is only required that the character’s minimum level be 15. There is no maximum character level requirement for any Meeting Stone.

Patch 2.0.1 (05-Dec-2006):
Meeting Stones now function similar to a Warlock Summon spell.

Patch 1.7.0 (13-Sep-2005):
You will no longer be kicked from the meeting stone queue when a player declines a group invite or when inviting someone that is already in a group.
You will now be informed that you have left the meeting stone queue when the group leader logs out.
Tanks and Healers will now be immediately added to the group by the meeting stone when they are the 5th member of the group.
You can now be added to a group by the meeting stone when that group contains characters that have disconnected.

Patch 1.6.0 (12-Jul-2005):
Players now receive an error message if they try to join a meeting stone queue and are in a raid or are not the party leader.

Patch 1.5.0 (2005-06-07):
Innkeepers around the world now have a gossip option that lets you join a meeting stone directly from the innkeeper rather than going to the location of the meeting stone. Also these Innkeepers will now have background lore about each of the dungeons.
Levels Required for meeting stones have been increased. The intent is that a group will not receive party members from a meeting stone that don't really have a chance of completing the dungeon.
Meeting Stones have had their rules for what players are grouped with what other players relaxed. This means groups who use meeting stones (or innkeepers) should have their groups formed much more quickly than they were previously.

Patch 1.3.0 (07-Mar-2005):
Meeting Stones added.

No changes between patch 1.7.0 and patch 2.0.1 have been documented. Thus Meeting Stones should be functioning to this degree on a patch 1.12.1 server.

Maybe I'm wrong somewhere here. Please point out my mistake if so.

Meaning before 2.0.1 you couldn't use them to TP people and 2.0 comes after 1.12
