If anything, there is a large community of players that is "waiting to see which comes first".

Whichever server comes out is going to grab all of the people that are just waiting for a decent vanilla server.

The real test of any scripting job is how things operate in PvP and in Raids. That means that most people will have to invest a large amount of time before they really notice whether a server is bad, okay, good, or great. Even if Kronos is just okay, if they come out first, and Nostalrius doesn't come out soon enough after for there to be any real comparisons, people will feel stuck with their choice. That's why x1 servers are debated so hard. You have to commit a ton of time before you know if you've made a choice worth sticking with, and you may not know that before you feel behind or too burnt out to start again.

If Nostalrius developers think that they have better scripts then they need to take that and act on it. Being first means a lot, even if you aren't technically the best right out of the gate.
