Explain the countless amount of Black Lotus farming guides from 2006 and 2007 that are comprehensive of herb locations that never mention anything about a spawn that never existed in the East wing of Dire Maul. I will take the word of countless guides over 1 random comment on Wowhead.

It is funny how so many players could know nothing about the herb spawn with Mushgog but can be so sure about a bugged private server spawn of an herb inside a dungeon because "they saw it happen on other private servers".

doubt anyone even cared about black lotus in dire maul in 2006 and 2007 since TBC is out and they pushed for fel lotus.

Black Lotus can be found in Winterspring, Eastern Plaguelands, Burning Steppes, Silithus, and outside the instance portals in Dire Maul. It is rare in all of these places and never appears anywhere else.

They can be found in Burning steppes, EPL, Winterspring and sometimes in the Dire Maul Arena. Extremely rare, I have only 2 at the moment.

nice research though, but it is confirmed by multiple sources the DM arena should spawn some lotus's during the rare event.

seems like there are suppsed to be 2 guaranteed spawn points of 2 dreamfoil and 2 gromsblood inside diremaul east. :O

It's a TBC video but pretty sure Blizz never changed herb spots between that and vanilla.

Reading the original text (I'm Norwegian) it's obvious that they're talking about the arena. Apparently 15-20 herbs will spawn in the arena when Mushgog spawns, with 1-2 black lotus among them.

I don't really care how they do it, but nost needs to find some way to inject 200% more black lotus per week onto the server or we will be in deep trouble once aq40 comes out. A lot of guilds will want to flask on that instance (especially titans on Cthun) and it will cause prices to spike even further. Lets not even begin to talk about how screwed naxx will be without a change
