I've payed pledges of 200g and there have been no issues getting the money back once you show up for the raid, so that shouldn't throw anyone off really. I'm looking forward to joining in on these GDKP runs =)

Our run went pretty good! Although there was quite some asspulling as I was imagining might happen in a semi-pug The highlights: 2 surgers and imps before the group is ready, which we somehow recovered. Gehennas, Ancient Core Hound, 2 Molten giants. It was weird, someone just backpedaled into Giants 50 yards away from the boss... and this one we unfortunately did not recover from

Still, all in all almost everyone performed very well and I was quite happy with this first run, despite the wipe after that massive ninjapull. The clear speed was relatively OK. DPS was not but all in all not too much to complain about.

Alrighty! The next run is coming up and I think it'll go faster than the goal time (got more dowsers and GDKP will likely attract some well geared people who want a specific item / do just want to get a lot of money).

Edit: Unfortunately we had to change the GDKP to basic +1 because of lack of interest. Was really hard to fill the raid up with it and since it started as a test of which system is more popular, we've got our answer.

The run was OK apart from 2 wipes to Garr which was kind of a learn to play issue from our part. Had to nudge the tactic a little bit and then it went down easy. Other than that stuff was relatively straightforward, although people kept dying quite a bit because we only had 5.5 healers and boss fights took a long time because the dps was low. All in all an OK run. Next time better!
