If you are turned off by the amount of gold offered possibly engendering an account ban, I am more than happy and honest enough to set up a payment series in order to avoid the draconian banning script.

You guys should not worry too much about legit gold transactions. I have been handling loot selling from raids for a long time and at most transferred 3500g from 1 person at one time, and never even had a GM question me what is going on. We also run a GoldDKP system where the raiders get a lot of money after the raid from items bought by members outside the guild / PvP items, so A LOT of gold is moving around all the time.
