I want to give a preview of the inventory changes coming in the next update — which I'm planning to put up later tonight or tomorrow morning. apologies in advance for the gif quality p:
the bag has been switched into a very light one-bag, keeping the overall blizzard frame design (and using the original blizzard bag code, where other onebag addons create entirely new ones) whilst allowing it to scale in height and width based on the number of slots you own. it's designed to minimise ugly frame overlaps and fiddly controls without losing the soul or looking too different from what was there before.

in terms of layout the buttons are stacked from the top down, your default backpack slots are positioned at the top, followed by each successive additional bag. there's also a function that highlights which buttons belong to which bag as you mouse over the relative main menu icon — making it easier to move items out of an individual bag when swapping them out or around.

bank bags are arranged in the same fashion, and show up alongside in the same frame when toggled:

those of you with large bags should find that the frame compensates for it by making the best possible use of space, and you can also drag the bag to move it around/away from other overlapping frames.
you might also notice the tooltip is attached to the cursor when mousing over NPCs or players — this snaps on and off depending on whether the bag is open, returning to its default position above the actionbar on the right-hand side when the inventory closes.
as an aside, i've also finally added a few basic stats in the tooltip that appears when hovering over the main menu latency bar. gold earned per session, session time played, xp per session, average xp per hour, list of loaded addons:
