+ cast bars on target + nameplates (init. push)
+ xp style shifted to modbar directory
+ partyframe class colour fix
- obsolete code

note that this should be considered an alpha push — i'm expecting there to be a few bugs to iron out that I won't have spotted in testing myself, & there's still some progress to be made with tracking spell interrupts outside of the obvious.

thank u kuurtzen <3

how to make the spell-text inside cast bar?

With the latest Version of Modui (great work on the Castbar btw) the skills on the first bar won't show the CD, while on the extra bars they do. I don't think it's a problem in my end, i only have Modui and Supermacro addons.

unfortunately i can't make a screenshot

hai,

I started a rogue and find some issues, and have some questions:

The energy ticker sometimes resets when start a tick and there are situations where completely fades and come back to the next tick.

But it could be just me, tested with 53.9 and just modui checked in the addonlist.
(frames still moved by moveanything addon, but i dont think its the case)

And there is a way to see if the target is in combat?
I may not see, or if there is not currently, do you plan to add it?

btw could you give me a tip how to change player and target frame name color only for rogues please?
Its a bit hard for me to see yellow text on yellow background.

Also, this previous conversation/ issue:

Bonuslife wrote:Also, i noticed that warrior rage and rogue energy value dont update after targetting them, druid energy/rage do update, but with some decay/ refresh rate, but maybe i just messed up something.

With modui: Side-by-Side Status Text
and modui: % or True Value on Sidebars checked, but it seems it doesnt matter, still the same with/without them.

edit: druid rage/energy does this sometimes, sometimes dont :s

looking into this, thanks

^^could you give some suggestion how to hide warrior, druid, rogue targets energy/rage values please?
Hiding the value seems to be an easy fix for this.

thanks

it'l hide when you have 100% energy, but you mean it'l disappear when its less than 100? I admit that i haven't tested the regeneration too heavily since I don't play a rogue, i'll make one today and see how accurately it keeps time — it might be that i need to tweak some values to get it updating correctly.

not currently, easy to add though — i'l add it to my feature list to-do

a (relatively major) update later today will add it so that rogues name will be coloured white to stand out.

ok thanks and yes, sometimes when the current energy is less than 100 it disappears.

I want to give a preview of the inventory changes coming in the next update — which I'm planning to put up later tonight or tomorrow morning. apologies in advance for the gif quality p:

the bag has been switched into a very light one-bag, keeping the overall blizzard frame design (and using the original blizzard bag code, where other onebag addons create entirely new ones) whilst allowing it to scale in height and width based on the number of slots you own. it's designed to minimise ugly frame overlaps and fiddly controls without losing the soul or looking too different from what was there before.

Image

in terms of layout the buttons are stacked from the top down, your default backpack slots are positioned at the top, followed by each successive additional bag. there's also a function that highlights which buttons belong to which bag as you mouse over the relative main menu icon — making it easier to move items out of an individual bag when swapping them out or around.

Image

bank bags are arranged in the same fashion, and show up alongside in the same frame when toggled:

Image

those of you with large bags should find that the frame compensates for it by making the best possible use of space, and you can also drag the bag to move it around/away from other overlapping frames.

you might also notice the tooltip is attached to the cursor when mousing over NPCs or players — this snaps on and off depending on whether the bag is open, returning to its default position above the actionbar on the right-hand side when the inventory closes.

as an aside, i've also finally added a few basic stats in the tooltip that appears when hovering over the main menu latency bar. gold earned per session, session time played, xp per session, average xp per hour, list of loaded addons:
