Socialist Guild

by Pisshead » Tue Oct 06, 2015 2:36 pm

Hi guys...

I don't know, if this has already been tried and if there are any good concepts for a socialist (not communist) guild setup, because I'd either like to create or join a guild like that. If this has never been tried I think it would be an interesting social experiment...

>I don't know exactly how to do that, that's why I'm asking, if there are some working concepts :) and to the picture poster communism =/= socialism else it would be the same word... o.O
Those who have more stuff or more time should want to give stuff to those who don't have that much time, but might rank up in the gear drop list...? I don't know... The guild would have to be based on kindness, honesty and altruism probably... biggest difficulty would be to spot the sociopaths and abusers... there would be multiple bank chars for white stuff where everyone has access to and every time you have something too much you'd send it to the respective bank. Nothing would go to the AH... Green stuff would be in another bank where only higher ranks have access to etc. And there would be profession leaders, who would get all the stuff they need for crafting first for example and everything that has been crafted would go back to an items bank... Probably the professions leaders would be those with the highest level and/or skill? My concept is very raw... Than you would have certain classes with their best matching professions for example hunters and rogues would be miners and herbalists the main hunter would be engineer and LW as well as the main rogue...? Mages would be skinners and tailors probably...?

thats good idea, but as you said - it would be very difficult to find all that class/professions leaders and decide class/proffs matching.
good luck with this idea, it seems very interest.

The biggest issue might be, that the guildleader or -creator would not have time to play, because he'd have to manage the "donations" etc  :?
