I however agree with those numbers, it's impossible and stupid to predict what the numbers will settle on in a month though.

Well, I checked the population on the realm(s) I'm on in retail and apparently there are about 300 online at one time at most. All hiding in their garrisons ofcourse.

No wonder the world feels empty there, even before my sub ran out. Don't forget, if 100 people are online in vanilla you have a huge chance of running into them compared to retail wow, because of the sheer size of the game and people leveling alts.

So even if it tops at a 1000 people I'm sure it'll feel extremely alive compared to retail.
