PS. I have approximately 15% of the alliance thorium requirement banked on my alts, and I'm one person.

I'd be surprised if 1/3rd of the war effort didn't get knocked out by day one.

Unless the requirement to complete the event gets boosted, the war event won't be what stops us from opening the gates, it'll be waiting for someone to finish their reputation grind and hit the scarab gong.

monopolization of the hives is silithus is a very possible reality. To be precise if a part of the server doesn't want to open the gates all they have to do is prevent anyone from grinding enough rep.
