Why not? You can do that with the fire resistance buff from the dudes in LBRS, for example.

That is because those mobs were designed with mind control in mind. If you mind control a player all you can do is auto attack.

Oh, that is kind of lame. I was hoping you'd be able to MC enemy locks and make them hellfire themselves to death.
