Yeah, I understand that it's a crappy thing to do. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if they did get banned for it. I just don't see where it can be labeled as an actual scam anymore than placing a single item in the AH for the price of a stack. If someone is dumb enough to fall for it, what do you do?

The whole intent is to defraud someone of gold so yes, it's a cheap scam.

He didn't write some scam message when he send you the COD item just dont be stupid to accept it and return it to him. I don't see a point to report a player for using the ingame mail.
