I once played on Scriptcraft private server (2012) who's account database was integrated with Valkyrie-WoW to resurrect the characters after shutting down. It's absolutely possible, though logistically there are some problems (account/char names/forgotten information, etc), however none insurmountable.

I find it highly likely that this can and will be done with Nostalrius Account Database on Elysium in addition to the scripting.

Can't say, that I am not disappointed for not having Nostalrius 2.0 opened tomorrow , but such is life.
