As I remember the Dungeon set 2 quest chain has some parts at Dire Maul, and since Dire Maul won't be available at launch, I guess that that won't be neither.

Dungeon Set 1 was included in release.
Dungeon Set 2 was added much later in the game. Patch 1.10. So I wouldn't expect Dungeon Set 2 to be available till we reach equivalent content.

Yeah, but even if you no lifed it to that, you would only have access to the older version of the pvp items. (The PvP items are also affected by item progression, you know).
And if you read or were a part of the numerous PvP item progression threads that have been on this forum some months ago, you'd know how subpar a lot of those stats were. (before the item buffs)

Even the R14 2handed epics, were not close to BiS (even if available in pre-buff state on release), compared to some of the 2handers in MC that dropped since release of WoW.

So like I said, even if you nolifed to R14 asap, you still wouldn't have any better gear than the MC raiders. Because you'd be using an older version of the gear like everyone else is everywhere in the game.

This is so fucking cool, i've been waiting years for a server to take vanilla to the next level, by going back further than 1.12 to try and relinquish some form of challenge in the raid bosses before AQ40 2nd half.

The attention to detail and balance in this regard sets nostalrius 1 level above any other vanilla private server that has ever previously existed. Well played.

Pretty sure that with the 8 debuff slot limit that SP's Shadow dmg debuff and Warlock's CoE will still be 2 primary ones.
