Well the warlock and paladin mount quests are supposed to be 1.4, so that is right....

I've found concrete proof of stats for all the mage items except Oddly magical belt and Lethendris wand (I can proove they existed, can't proove the stats and the stats they have are prolly too high) threw Zam; I'll wait til the patch comes in a few hours to start freaking out, but from the pings I'm able to do it looks like there are 0 items in Dire Maul for me atm..... hopefully that's not the case though.

You said 20 days ago though, did you go there last Friday to check again? It was at a bad time of day for me so I never got to see the updates from the submissions we put in.

Also I fear implementing this pre-item state is quite the mistake. After looking through all the patch notes whenever gear has been changed/added it was mentioned. There is no mention of any gear being added to Dire Maul in any of the patchnotes, except the addition of relics in patch 1.10

The only patches that mention anything about dungeon loot upgrades are;

Patch 1.4 (pre BWL/AV/WSG) -
"Scholomance Itemization
20 new Rare items have been added to Scholomance.
Several Uncommon items have been upgraded to Rare quality.
Rattlegore, Jandice Barov, and Lord Alexei Barov will now always drop at least one Rare item.
Ras Frostwhisper will always drop at least two Rare items.

Stratholme Itemization
26 new Rare items have been added to Stratholme.
Several Uncommon items have been upgraded to Rare quality.
Archivist Galford, Baroness Anastasi, Nerub'enkan, and Maleki the Pallid will now always drop at least one Rare item."


Patch 1.10 (After AQ, Pre Naxx) -
"Adventurers of Azeroth can now quest to upgrade their previous Rare-quality Dungeon set to a new, higher-quality set, including epic gear! These tasks include all-new boss encounters, so prepare your finest group of dungeon-delvers and prepare for a challenge!

Along with the new Armor Sets, the high-level 5-10 man dungeons have received some changes regarding loot. Many items have been improved in quality and use. In addition, several epic items, such as Headmaster's Charge and the Runeblade of Baron Rivendare, have had their drop rates significantly increased."

In their graph they show that the D2 stuff will be releasing with ZG when infact it came after AQ. That and the fact that some items are already wrong and have been wrong since server release such as the Deathbone set which I found last night.

As you can see the whole set (except the chest), including the 2pc bonus is incorrect. I havent looked at anything else yet but I'm sure there must be errors elsewhere as well, and I'm sure there will be errors with DM as well. Unless it can be done close to 100% I just don't think it's worth it at the end of the day, as it in itself makes the server "un-blizzlike".

Also another question is when will this change go through, Patch 1.7 (ZG) -
"We have determined that the defense statistic was being applied to items too liberally, causing those items to be stronger than they should have been relative to other items of the same level with different effects. As a result, we have reduced the amount of defense points on all items with bonuses to defense by approximately 33% in order to bring those items in line with other similar items."

Yes, I talked with viper about it last friday while on the PTR, thats why I know they are aware of it and have decided to not implement the items due to lack of information about them.

2934 mana for 6\7k mana users is a suffering for every group with manausers

Didn't see you on the test realm. Also, if you think this server is keeping to any kind of timeline at this point, lawl. Good info, but cya in BWL in Oct.

It would fix a lot of problems if they would just stop this item data stuff. It was a cute idea to try to keep the item data in line with real Blizzard patches, but it doesn't work right in practice.

This is true, it changes nothing about difficulty in the end, except being bothersome to everyone, dev team included.
