Nothing needs to be done about the population, if you dont like it then leave. Quit spamming the forums about it.

Some improvements were done to minimize lag in Raids, Instances and Battlegrounds (even at 10K players). But, as more players enter in the world it becomes more and more difficult to optimize server performance, forcing us to decrease some quality parameters to handle the large amount of players while developers continue to work on further optimization.

We are aware of this issue that some players have and a solution is on its way.

I assumed this meant you can actually change your password now on the site, not just an instruction on how to change it in game. I'll still be screwed if for some reason I ever forget my password.

From what I can gather, you can't change it on the Nostalrius web site, but you can reset it provided you know the e-mail address you registered the game account name with and can then change it once you've received the reset e-mail. That covers both scenarios most players are likely to run into: 1) forgot their password but know the e-mail address and game account and just need to reset it, or 2) know their password and can login and can simply change it using the ".account password" command in-game.

The only scenario I can think of where you'd be screwed was if you didn't know what e-mail address you used when you registered the account.
