This thread is ridiculous!!!!! I mean I lol'd so hard reading these comments.

Listen up everyone: Viper posted this 12 days ago, addressing real issues. That's called communication.

You can see on the bug tracker that devs are being assigned to bugs.

This is a team working for "free", and they probably have careers and families. This game is awesome the way it is now, and we should not expect anything more. But they will release stuff when it's scripted and programmed correctly which I'm so appreciative for. Stop making such a fuss. Like someone else said, it's all about getting on for a few hours a day and chilling/pvping/having fun with friends and your guild.

I have had less lag spikes than I did with the retail Vanilla wow. I have had about the same amount of bugs(except my talent tree) with retail Vanilla wow. The only thing I can't stand is the 2 yard draw distance when the server reaches 9k+ players. You know what I do? I get off for awile. By the time I'm back, it's fine. This server is 2 and a half months old, and we have MC and Ony.

Give the Dev's the respect they deserve and don't piss them off by complaining about shit....

Not enough content for you? Go play another game until they have scripted and released quality content. For me, I could get to 60 and be content with the content for months. But I'm all about friendship and world PvP. This game is very hard to script. Stop complaining so much.

February 28th, 2015... we just broke the 4 month mark.

You know I've stayed quiet on this post since it was initially created by Viper. I walk the line between the people that are bothered because things aren't perfect(lag, timeline being off, etc), and the people that are content with how things are. It's posts like the one I've partially quoted that don't really serve a purpose and this topic is now filled with them.

The people that play 24/7 aren't attacking you about the amount of time you put into the game are they? Why do you feel it necessary to tell them that they are playing wrong? The majority of the people complaining/bitching/etc are only doing so based on the expectations created by the people at Nostalrius. I also think most of them are doing so out of concern for the server itself, and not just because of their own selfish impatience.

I do agree a lot of these posts are overly harsh and demanding, and I have a great deal of respect and appreciation for the guys that put this all together. Even if this server went no further I've had a great time playing, and the Devs don't owe me anything.

If I were to guess what maybe causing the time line to be off it would be that maybe they didn't expect as many people to be playing, this may have taken dev attention away from scripting and placed them on lag issues. (Let's not forget hackers, bots, and gold sellers.) It could also be the fact that the current raid content went down a lot faster then they had planned.

The person I quoted also seems content with getting a word from the devs over 10 days ago, it feels a little long to me when the word soon appears multiple times in that post. I do wish we could get a little more feedback from the Nost Crew, but until then I'll be waiting patiently.

People need to learn how to separate criticism of something they like as not being criticism of themselves. Everyone of these threads, you guys treat any criticism of the server like its a personal attack. You need to learn to separate the two, people wanting a answer from the devs is good for you. People who bitch and make a fuss tend to get an answer more. Stop telling people how to play or that they should just leave or go to another server or wait. I mean seriously its sorta hard to take you seriously when your entire argument consists of stop being a no-lifer.

Mhm.

The nostalrius crew have done a great job, but I would like to know what's up with content releasing. We were shown a glorious timeline, which we knew wouldn't be completely accurate, but this is starting to get scary.
Waiting 6+ months for the next raiding tier is a little too Blizzlike in my opinion (not saying we've waited 6 months, but that's where we're headed).

I am totally fine with the release temp. I just dinged 60 and was not even been in MC \ Ony. I also would rather w8 and experience Blizlike scripted stuff, rather than rush to get some buggy stuff.

Same with me. Unless you want to see Nefarian being killed by NOPE/GRIZZLY without tanks or some other s**t.

I believe - and please correct me if I'm wrong - but Nostalrius said the raids were fully scripted. Obviously bugs will be thrown up from time to time, but that's what PTR is for.

The quality has been abit mixed tbh.. but I think they still need to release content. There really isn't anything to do atm and content isn't rewarding at all because all the gear is shit.

This. That's why the whole "I'd rather wait longer than have buggy content" trend is very boring and repetitive. The content is already done and ready. They're just holding it back for unknown reasons.

They said it's ready, therefor it's ready.

....Right....

It seems more likely that they still need to do some work on it, but they got overwhelmed with other issues. If they intentionally wanted to hold it back longer I feel like they would just pop on here and say that. Lack of communication usually doesn't result from a calculated move; it results from being overwhelmed/panicking/being frustrated, not having time, etc.
