To compete with Kronos? That there is much to compete with now.

Videos make a lot of hype.

Character transfers from the PvP realm will never be possible.

Welp screw the PvE server then, it's still possible to PvE on the PvP server x)
I don't mind nostalgia and all that, but i don't wanna waste my time leveling again :p

This may sound a bit farfetched, but it's entirely possible to recruit a video editor while also preparing a new realm. I don't think the guy editing videos is going to be the same guy writing code or maintaining the servers.

I know, crazy concept huh?

First off thanks NOS for the PVE realm, I can finally come back (missed the PVE test :( ) and play. Though a few weeks is rather upsetting, particularly being held up by a video, :? . After being a Guide on live EverQuest servers at the launch of Kunark though Velious, NO THANKS, never ever again. If you need help for a week or two, sure no problem, but anymore I would rather just play and enjoy myself.

This is all I have for asking to release it sooner to let the people know about now get a head start before in the influx of newer players from a video decide to come and play on the server.

In all honesty, if you really have 7500+ players playing on Nostalrius PvP: You don't need another hype video.
Pack it up, set a date and let the players do the hyping this time.

We won't go much into detail here, but cross-realm battlegrounds are a very complicated topic.
The concept has been precised and specified before this summer by the Development Team with the following conclusion: it is a very difficult challenge to achieve and there is, for now, no guarantee that it will happen as it needs a lot of software development. The content release shift between the PvE & PvP realms gives us several months to prepare a final answer.

No worries, we dont want it.
