Maybe you didn't know but Arathi Basin was added in patch 1.7.0 but it was released on Nostalrius from the beginning... There are also AB reputation gear out. So you see, they are not following everything in order.

And also I want to point out that everything (I think) except the lvl 18 Protector's Band are available from Illiyana (ally). One horde side, though, neither the ring or the neck are available.

You're missing the point. Half of the items are in and the other half aren't. Let's at least get some consistency with gear upgrades. Either release all the 18 items or none of them. Don't release all but one item on Alliance side and no items at all on Horde side. That honestly makes no sense at all.

The argument is pointless anyways considering they confirmed it on the bug tracker 5 days ago.

Anyways, I just wish they would act with the same urgency as they did when they released AB rewards and upgraded blue pvp gear several patches too early. I was under the impression when they said the remaining missing items would be added, these were among them.
