I still don't understand why the PvE server has a cap and the PvP server does not. People always cry nodes or economy, but the node respawn rates can be modified with "code" to make their respawn rates "quicker" dependent on amount of people on the server.

The only drawbacks of the PvP server are nodes and ganking, and we don't need to worry about ganking anymore.

DarkOPM wrote:So what timezone is that 19:00 pm server time?

Central European Summer Time, which is UTC +2 or GMT +2. That means that the server opens at:

18:00 for Brits and Irish
20:00 for Eastern Europeans
13:00 for US East Coasters
12:00 for Texans
10:00 for Californians
02:00 on Sunday for Japanese
06:00 on Sunday for New Zealanders

Shimmerleaf wrote:Forgive me if the answer to this question is obvious, but I just wanted to be sure. I plan to switch over to the PvE server permanently and not play the PvP server again. Would I still have to change the WDB folder for the new item stats to take effect? If so, would I need to do it just once?

You need to delete the WDB folder before you start playing and then you need to delete it every time the server progresses to a new itemization patch. These will be announced in this forum. The items will always have their correct stats and you only see wrong stats if your WDB isn't "up-to-date".

France.

Stondus wrote:It's just the limit of accounts that nostalrius.org allows you to create per IP. Currently it's 4, i believe. In real life it means, that if you are one of those weird people that create account / char they play (dunno why anyone would, actually) with, after 6 chars (accounts) you have to use other pc / tablet / phone with new IP (or spoof your router's mac to get instantly new IP) to be able to create new accounts.

The "banned is still banned" means just that if you cheat / buy gold / etc in ie. pvp realm, your pve will be locked up too.

EDIT: and nope, the 6 account limit does NOT mean you can't play those 20 different accounts in one single IP, you can play each and every one of them, as long as the server rules are obeyed. (No multiboxing or botting - part, and max 6 at once, that's 6 humans on 6 machines max.)

thank you so much u are amazing u gave solution to my answear cause i still want to achieve my goal and make ALL racials ALL classes and ofc have some alliance also to spy the other site cause simply dark side prevail in all sides.

It means that you cannot send a mail between Horde and Alliance.
Intrafaction is possible (Alliance-Alliance or Horde-Horde), of course. :)

Paranoid about what? They have been very adamant about not providing any kind of monetary service.

Exactly my point. Why would they even need to mention it then?

It's supposed to read like "as always, no shop."

They mention it because lots of other private servers have a shop. They're just pointing out that this one doesn't, just like the PvP server.
