Brilliance will not be participating in PTR on our main raid days, but that's the time ZG is scheduled to be opened. I know for a fact that alot of guilds raid Wednesday somewhere between 18:00 and 24:00, so I imagine we're not alone in this.
Most guilds testing on PTR are doing it on their 2nd/3rd raid days or they add an extra raid day.
If you need X raid days to clear current content then you raid on PTR during the last raid day or you add an extra raid day for PTR.
Guilds which can't be asked / can't organize to fit 1h-2h extra raid times in their current weekly schedule can only blame themselves for their lack of organization instead of pointing their fingers at the staff who took the least worse decision regarding when PTR should be opened and for how long.
The first testing period lasts 1 full week. If you can't fit one or two more raid hours in your schedule, it's your problem.
The reporting of bugs during PTR period aren't the issue.
Just saying because I disagree with previous statements : you can easily do PUG UBRS. Good luck clearing all of ZG as a PUG if you don't have the right setup / circle of regular and brained ppl joining. As a guild you can do UBRS eyes closed, you still need a minimum of focus and organization for ZG.
Also I believe ZG scripts for bosses mechanics are far more complicated than BWL ones. On top of that, ZG has 10 bosses which need to be tested and fixed if need be while BWL has 8. You can also take into account the fact ZG has way more quests than BWL, herb & vein nodes, etc.
EDIT : To follow Brain's post, I'm thinking of Blood Scythe + mats for Gurubashi Mojo Madness added to vendor which would also ease/speed up the testing process.
