Every guild that day 1 killed Nefarian.

I can't talk for all the guilds, but I'm certain all of us would've cleared it on day 1 either way. There is nothing hard about BWL and most people have cleared it before.

The (large) half that did get clear within a week or two are the non-shitter guilds.

Fair enough, though BWL is alot harder and weirder than MC. AQ40 and naxx being a whole different game ofcourse.

Ptr goes 4 weeks without fixes and no new bugs, Testers at fault not finding new bugs.

Conclusion: testers is using ptr for industrial progressing.

Practice makes perfect, while most people may have cleared it before, the years wear on memories. Being able to "progress" on the PTR makes it significantly easier. I'm not against it, but I feel there should be a focus on trying to "break" the bosses to see what can happen, that way when it goes live there will be less issues.

I'm very pleased to see this testing happening so quickly, I was afraid we were in for a monstrously long wait.

As for guilds that get practice on the PTR... good. It only saves them about one night of wiping, and in exchange maybe some bugs get fixed!

I second the notion of being able to test set bonuses by having gear provided.
Could've prevented a couple of set bonus bugs with Tier 2 if this was applied on BWL testing.
