I personally find it stupid , it would be simpler and more rational to implement a queue for the players to maximum on the server being 10k

I think it is reasonable that the Staff needs more money for Hardware, i get that, even tho i think it woud be better, as already said in this thread, if you woud provide people with a possibility to donate small amounts.

But i'm not even close to understanding why you woud even consider shutting down Dev/ISVV Realms, u can't possibly have many players on them that i will be problem to find another server to host them on, even a cheaper one or the one you are using for the PvE Server since it hasn't that many players.
This seems like a 12 year old decision from my PoV ( working as a software developer myself ), shutting down further development shoud never be an option.

Everyone loves new hardware so if it is viable do it.

But as a fellow IT guy, I have poweredges coming out of my arse could the test realms not be put on something homebrew like that?

Yea you think that now, until you try to login and only have 2-3 hours to play.....meanwhile your queue says 8-12 hour wait time.

Set up another server for the Chinese and they can pay it and support it, offer anyone free Xfer to the Chinese server that wants to go( or vice versa for English speakers). I'd gladly help support the server more with out these issues, why would anyone help support the server if it's just going to lag every night.

Paying extra money for a 20% increase in performance isn't even worth it. A second server would be better spent.

Are these chines players only farmers or real players who raid and make pvp/pve?
