I've been feeling the urge to play Vanilla again so badly.

If/when this Nostalrius re-release happens, it's gonna be a good day.

^This.

Working in IT you have a lot of gamers around, while they followed my progress on Nost they were grinding Alts in WoD to be ready with the most max lvls for Legion.

All 8 of them pushed 1 toon to max and quit a couple weeks later.

They all agreed they should have joined me on day one and were stoked to hear about Blizz-Con and what they would say about Legacy or if Nost would come back after. They stop by my desk every few days asking for an update :)

Whelp, Blizzard stated they had no plans to even talk about Legacy at BlizzCon.

Time for folks to wear their Nost shirts and chant "we think we do"; can't kick us all out, they won't have much of a convention then!

Yes, Blizzard is well aware of the Legacy issue now thanks to all of you:

  • They know that the need is here with around 300,000 players signing our petition and the statistics from the survey we published (answered by 50,000 WoW gamers) showing that players are ready to pay a subscription fee for it.
  • According to the discussion we had since our official meeting at their headquarters, they now have everything in their hands to fulfil the large community request for Legacy servers, solving all the previous technical issues they highlighted during the feedback they provided.

As a consequence, if Blizzard doesn't make an announcement to honor their own core values, be sure that we will.

In the end, pleasing the community is the ONLY thing which should matter.

Blizzard is being foolish.. I love what Nostalrius has done and hope that you guys do honor what you just said and make an announcement after Blizzcon. I've never attended blizzcon but i bought the virtual ticket this year only because i wanted to see information regarding legacy servers. Now they have said they won't even discuss it.
