I would not considering you'll only experience that quest once and most important that they can fix these along the way as we all take the 1-2month+ leveling time.
They HAVE the hype.
They HAVE the dungeons.
They HAVE the classes and items.
They HAVE the community.

Seems like they are very close to releasing the server :)

i cant imagine that soo much quests will / are broken.
i played on a private server long ago, and questing was OK with exceptions like complex follow up quests,
movement of NPC quests but that is/was most pathfinding, and that has been tackled.
will there be some bugs with quests; without a doubt.
or report it and do it later, or skip it.
if its more then 5% of the quests bugged, then its alot.
and even then there are more then enough quests to lvl to 60 twice.

There are not enough quests to lvl to 60 twice, unless you add up both alliance and horde quests

It worries me that all world mobs and NPC's have always been disabled during the tests.
I doubt many lowlvl quests were getting reported/fixed when the server was instant lvl 55...

I am not talking about Quests only, I am talking about Mob's A.I. and attributes too (HP, mana, their resistances, armor, their minumum and maximum damage, their attack speed and attack power, their equipment, repuation, loot table and drop rates (so important and so widespread bug on private servers), their position if they are not moving, their patrol route if they are moving, artificial intelligence, their abilities, spells, buffs, debuffes and how do they cast them, when do they cast them, running out or not for help when they are low on health, stop following me or contiune to follow me when I jump into a water running away from mob etc..)

That's why I purpose to do ZONE BY ZONE testing sessions. Here is my advice:

I have one simple suggestion that would take some time but the blizzlike resultes would be there for certian :). I don't know your schedule for testing sessions but I think that zone by zone tactic would be good because it would give us slow but in-depth research what is bugged and what should be fixed (broken quests, quests that work but should be polished, add missing quests, regular quests, class quests, escort quests, elite and group quests, mobs (+ rare/elite mobs) and all their immunites, ressistances, reputation, aggro range, hp & mana, spells and abilites and when do they cast them and how do they cast them, when they are low on health to run for aid, armor, equipment, min & max damage, attack power, attack speed, loot table, drop rates, their buffes and debuffes, their interruption spells, their positioning, their patrol route if they are moving, their gossips etc...)

For example you make 1st session just for starting zones 1-10 level:
Elwynn Forest, Dun Morogh, Teldrassil, Durotar, Mulgore, Trisfal Glades

After everything is tested and players report bugs and you fix them, then you release next 2nd session for zones that are in range 10-20/25/27 level:
Darkshore, Loch Modan, Silverpine Forest, Westfall, Barrens, Redrige Mountains, Stonetalon Mountains

Again after everything is tested and players report bugs and you fix them, then you release next 3th session for zones that are in range 18-35 level:
Ashenvale, Duskwood, Hillsbrad Foothills, Wetlands, Thousand Needles

And you repeat this process until you check and fix all other zones.

Of course you can change range level and increase/decrease zones that you will test in one session but this should be just one simple example of my suggestion.

Good luck :)

Again..4 years. I'm sure it's functioning properly for the majority. Why set the server back months for a few things that may not work when we can report them as we're leveling. No point in setting it back even further for something as small as an improper health value on a select few quests.. I don't think that will ruin the experience..seeing the majority of our time will be spent at 60..........

The statement that PvP scripts are not "a priority" is curious to me, does this mean that BGs will be inactive during the test period?

its basically a continuance of the PVE BETA last time. were double checking those bugs we found and trying to find new ones. now that we have more time we can actually test the raids more as well. :) they dont want u spending your time outside IF or ORG dueling. find some dungeons or solo the lowbie ones. object is to find bugs and help them polish the server for a release (which im sure we all want soon)

While I get the point of that, it will probably make for a poor stress test due to low incentives for people to be online. Those that tested the dungeons have already been through them (rushing through them once again with a geared 60 to check if the bugs are fixed takes no time at all) and the 20 mans will be (properly) tested by organized raids with set schedules.

If they want 600+ people to be online all at the same time for a "proper" stress test there should be an incentive to play for those that aren't dead-set on actually testing; opening BGs would allow these players to stress the servers while still doing something they enjoy.

If feenix is 10 years old, why isn't it working properly?

Ofcourse it ruins the experience, stop being delusional. What is the point of having a lowlvl quest fixed by the time I'm lvl 60. Nostalrius states on the front page that it is the most advanced vanilla 1.12 private server. You don't make a claim like that and get away with it if it turns out to be mediocre. People don't like getting lied to.
