What classes benefit most from r13/14 gear?

To clarify, i do not mean how good the r13/14 gear is when it comes to PVE. Only which sets are unmatched for PVP by lets say tier 2 quality gear.

I'm considering either Mage, Lock, Warrior or Hunter as of right now.

I'd say rogue and wlock benefit the least from pvp gear over t2.

Rogue's armor set is actually very lackluster, HP boost is great but your AP will be stupidly low.

Bloodfang is actually pretty solid if you have good offpieces to accompany it and can get enough hit, the proc is pretty amazing.

As i gather, this would be an example of a class/spec combo where the stats are a bit too diluted to be considered very strong.

I do get what you mean though and in principle i agree with it. I will NOT pick a spec or class based solely out of how valuable the r13 gear is.

But... hear me out.

I doubt grinding the last ranks (from say 10-13/14) would be as much fun as world pvp or spending fewer hours being really interested and satisfied in the game.
The reason for spending those hours the last weeks or months would be because there is a great reward in a very good epic quality set.
If i were to replace those very quickly, i would probably allocate my gaming time in a different way.


As such, i guess my question is not really "what class has the strongest rank 13 set" but rather "which sets are worth it and which are not?".

Pure dps classes are better off then hybrids in my experience
But hybrids are forced to a certain job (healing) in pve so this set offers some different play style approaches for them
in the end you dont want to get bored so play what you want
