Shaman or druid?

by Shamuid » Sun Sep 06, 2015 3:04 pm

After some research I came to the conclusion that:
- Both can be cows
- Both can rdps, melee and heal
- Both are recommended to level with melee spec
- Both will have to heal in pve end-game
- Both have crappy mana inefficient rdps specs

So that leaves 2 questions:
1) stealth + brezz >< self-rezz + regular rezz
2) which rdps spec is most mana efficient of the two?

Totem management is another difference, really whichever you like the most, play.

The real question is why you wanna play them?

If this is about pvp .. imo druid is better (more versatile) + stealth is op. Idk about mana efficiency, druid could be better, depending on playstyle.

If your goal is raiding, I would say druid.

Both rdps specs are crap in raids, and are only brought for buffs.

Healing-wise, I'm pretty sure shamans are better off, due to chain heal being so OP, and because totems totems totems.

But really it boils down to what you want to play. You can still heal raids as a druid, and you'll be cherished for combat rez. But for 5mans, you'll get people turning you down because of not having a standard rez.
