any class can do good DPS when you try super hard, use max consumes, AND get the best gear in the game... so, i mean... since thats the only way pally's do it, thani dont see them anywhere near the top. fury has the highest potential, but its real rough at first.

try to remember this isn't just about what paladins can do, this is about all the classes.
In regards to DPS, not much has changed since the release of BWL, the same class still remains the same when it comes to the charts.
Does anything think perhaps when ZG comes out, other classes will start taking over the charts?

Seriously though, I don't think there will be any significant changes, warlocks will go up but I don't see them over taking rogues or fury warriors yet. They are really the only ones that benefit from ZG changes a lot, +spell hit gear and increased debuff limit are both huge for them. Everyone else just gets a couple upgrades and head/leg/shoulder enchants.

Mages and warlocks get a huge buff from zg with the bloodvine set with the +4% to hit since there's very little hit gear in the game currently. Add in the 16 debuff slots so shadowpriests buff warlock dmg by 15% and you will see BiS locks start topping the charts with mages competitive as well. BWL for mages once they get the MQG trinket their boss dps goes up a lot, especially if they have ToeP to pair with it.

The epic caster ring with spell pen was added to AV some time after BWL/ZG, I assume when AQ came out because it's the first raid with spell pen drops.

ranged classes will in time begin to overtake the melee classes on the charts. It is as example hard to compete with one fire mage being boosted by 4-5 other fire mages
