Now that ZG is out if a team of fire mages worked together mages would hold every dps record in that instance. Fire mages will have all the tank and spank fights through ZG-Naxx. Warlocks will be best average dps for their class as more gear comes out. Right now Furies are king, but will be bumped by ignite with AQ release.

For PVP, I'm not so sure. My warlock on feenix can do 11,000-14,000 damage in three seconds in a battleground. I know ret paladins can 1-shot me, but I'm pretty sure 11-14k in two globals isn't going to be beaten.

Reck bombs will do dbl that in 1 gcd with bis .. nothing can beat a paladins burst .. to bad blizzard screwed them on transferring it to pve would have been simple too .. all had to do was make reck stack with a critical instead of when critted
