PvE server class selection

Hi,

I have really hard time deciding at which class should I play. I've played vanilla as alliance hunter and was riding bwl, aq40 and naxx with him. Then I had a break and came back in mid bc playing as holy paly on the horde side this time. I've always had hunter alt along with priest there as well.

I really don't know what is useful right now and what can be played with a bit higher ping as I'm playing from Singapore. Can you guys advise?

Thanks,
Cykoor

High ping means you need something forgiving.

Hunter or Warlock are most forgiving in Solo and Grouped Play.
Mage could work, but would be much harder solo.

Healer, Tank, and Rogue (positioning) would seem to be harder still for all styles.

If you're going to play on the PVE server, please consider playing horde since it's like 60/40 ratio, maybe even 65/35 in favor of Alliance. Other than that, feel free to play whatever class you enjoy the most tbh.

Welcome to the server!

Thanks for warm welcome!

I think I can play horde here but still have problem with choosing my class...

I think I've "narrowed it down" to warlock/hunter or priest/shaman, maybe mage...

I'm so bad at decisions like this :/

"Narrowed down" -> 5 classes left...

What's the problem anyway?
- pick something you haven't played yet, more fun to explore the game from scratch again
Leaves you with lock/shaman/mage:
- you want to heal or dps in raids?
Leaves you with lock/mage or shaman
If it's lock/mage:
- you want big hits but gotta watch ktm or smaller hits with epic ignites but gotta watch when to drop ignite?
Done.
