Hunter or Warlock for pvp?

After 10 years I'mreturning to WoW (I only played Vanilla when I was 15 years old).

I'll join PvP server, and I want to create some range character. I'm doubting between Hunter and Warlock, but I do not know which one of both fits more to do PvP. It would be great if recommend the racial too.
Note that I'm planning to join the Alliance (yep, I always choose the good guys).

Well, I hope answer that can help me!

Easy. Hunter.

Alliance Warlocks are gimped vs Undead WotF (breaks Fear and Seduce, plus a 5 second immune) and Shaman Tremor Totems (repeatedly breaks Fear and Seduce in an AoE).

Similarly, Horde Hunters are gimped vs Paladins, who counter all Hunter utility in BGs.

Hunters are a great counter to Mages, and Horde have something like 13 million Undead Mages with some form of Vurtne in their name. If you're playing Alliance, definitely roll Hunter.

For PvP, both Night Elf and Dwarves have good racials. I personally prefer the Shadowmeld for defending AB Flags, but Dwarves also have Stoneform which is a great racial for cleansing bleeds and poisons, and Blind is a poison. I guess it really depends on how much you hate Rogues as a Hunter.

Hunter is amazing in BGs. Warlock... isn't. The same can be said about rolling Alliance over Horde, if you care about going into the high ranks.

I disagree because we offer good utility and damage as warlocks in the form of curse of tongues spam, burst, and defensive dispels. I'm not saying we're better, but we bring more to a premade than what you are comveying.
