You can see someone casting chain lightning through the flag. Same thing actually on retail (thanks for the 2 hours of queue). Maybe you could provide us a solid proof for that.

He casts arcane missles cause the other mage tries to LoS him with flag. Flags should indeed be LoS. Op is right.

Your 3rd person video does not really show if he was clightly next to, or right behind the flag for the shaman.

If the video in itself only shows Arcane Missiles being cast at some point in the fight near the flag, then it's not really a proof in itself, it might be used to prevent range-loss rather than LoS, or for any other good PvP reason. It's a valuable clue, but not a 100% proof. But seing the video would still be interesting tho

I didn't see any LoS change on retail (unless you have a patchnote ... ?). We went on retail and it is currently working exactly as it does on Nostalrius Begins.

However even if we don't take it as a proof, on every video we watched, no one is playing with the flag LoS and sometimes we see casts like chain lightning going through it. Everything tends to show that there is no LoS for the flag.

So unless you can find a video showing someone unable to cast something because someone is not in LoS, we will not change that behavior. Proof has to be given before changing something, not the other way around

Got this video, it's crappy but we could imagine at 10 : 35 that Gameking use Arcane Missile to avoid LOS issue and we could assume that the other guy is hiding behind the flag . But it's not a solid proof, i mean he could have use arcan because his opponent use a fire shield ( he could have use frost too ) .

btw we need a better video / proof ^^ .
