(Not a bug) UI bug

Okay, this might seem a bit odd, but I've found it impossible to set up unit frames that allow displaying enemy target's health. I normally use CT_UnitFrames and it worked fine on other private servers, but here it only displayed hp in percents, even though I set it to value. Tried reinstalling it, tried installing it on a fresh client, no luck. And after changing realmlist and successfully getting the same client to display enemy hp on other server I'm now fairly sure that this is not a client bug. Also tried Xperl, didn't work here either. Can it possibly be a bug on server side?

On vanilla you were not allowed to know the real HP of your target. It is a common error on private servers. As you noticed, it is working as intended on Nostalrius.
However, there are some addons that compute as estimation of your target health points, based on the damage you did for example.

It was like that on Vanilla, you don't see exact life of your target, except if you are in the same faction.

Well, I actually intended to ask in OP whether it was a bug or a feature^^
Nice to see that this is actually blizzlike. Come to think of it Xperl did display health of friendly targets. CT_Unit frames did not, though. Is it impossible to make it do so?

You needed mods to do these kind of things back then. Anything that could not be active while mounted would prevent mounting up(ie Bear Form). They didn't drop the forms for you, they just gave you an error message. I believe EZDISMOUNT should fix this for all abilities, although I haven't tested it yet. It's a Classic mod designed to remove all mount errors, and just auto drop whatever ability(or the mount) for you. This meant that you would just click twice to mount up if something was preventing it, or click an ability twice if a mount prevented an ability.

I also have XPerl, so I should be able to see if it works as well. I wasn't in the first session.
