i wondered why no1 did report about wlock fear after pvp test... Ok here we go

http://database.wow-one.com/index.php?spell=6215 and http://database.wow-one.com/index.php?spell=17928 cannot be broken by dots (or chance is very low).

U can hold fear+dots up on ur target and its gonna dead. I hope no need to proove about that shouldnt work this way?

And yes, you actually have to prove stuff if you want it to be fixed correctly. "thinking" stuff isn't enough.

Fear has been corrected many times during the beta so I will be very surprised if there is still a bug like this...

When a victim is feared, it is granted extra chances to break the spell when it receives damage. However, DoTs have less chance to break fear than direct damage spells or melee attacks. Even loaded up with DoTs a mob can be feared for the full duration with some frequency, but it can also break nearly instantly, depending on luck.

It is currently already scripted correctly.
DoTs can break fear effects, but are less likely to do it than direct damage, as stated in the wowwiki source.

It is possible that you didn't got enough chance during the tests you made.
