I'm biased towards CrestFall but on the basis of a genuine belief that this is going to be the real deal.

What I would ask people to do is to compare and contrast.

Go the the Vakryie/Elysium website and check out their forum. Check out their reddit posts and responses.
Now compare that the CrestFall forum, and their reddit posts and responses.

Now consider that the Elysium launch is 2 weeks away, and the CF one is at least 4 months.
I know Elysium is a copy & paste of an existing server but still....

The most blizzlike server

Elysium (Valkyrie Website) server is best server ever found. (Speaking the guy that criticize the most private servers).

Server placed in France but owners are Russians so if Blizzard try to Shut down , the server will easy switch to Russia and USA/Blizzard laws are completely powerless there.
(100% Guarantee that will never Shut Down) Their previous Server is one of the oldest and completely unaffected by Blizzard.

Class Abilities working 100% Blizzlike, and this is the first private server that exist with working Abilities Blizzlike way. No other private server made this happen or have this.

I would just like to say that after spending the past few years playing on various private Vanilla servers, it was an absolute pleasure to ding earlier this evening, pick up Seal of Command from my Retribution talent tree and find it working absolutely perfectly and blizzlike for the first time since actual retail WoW.



Kudos to the devs here for taking the time and effort to make this seemingly unworkable yet absolutely critical Ret Paladin spell mechanic and making it work here on Elysium.



It's 0.5 second proc delay even works here:

Bug fixes are very fast and nearly on weekly bases you see plenty of fixes.
Best quest/raids/dungeons scripted (Mechanic wise and working).

Mobs overall are scripted like Nostalrius (using Abilities properly).

Minor bugs do exist but they usual get solved extremely fast once proper report is done compare to any other private server.

-Crestfall is just propaganda and /flex /brag only. Nothing in action, only promises. Immature GM's too (and their history of disbanded fail server). Even if you see their Forums is just 100% Toxic.
-Anti China based, separating them from everyone and Racism based Server.
-Crestfall Developer is clueless and also stubborn giving no Evidence for his claims (Paladin Holy Resistance Meme).
-Donations will be available with Vanity items reward and mounts (unfair advantage over others) "Pay to Win"
-Will automatically upgrade to TBC once all contents are open, if they lack with people on PVP server they will not ask you if you want to remain Vanilla but screwing you. (Same like Feenix).


-Elysium GM's are mature and 24/24 active in discord/in game with best service toward the people.
-English only but accepting everyone around the world.
-Lag in Australia is lowest ever compare to any other existing private server.
-No lags and extremely rare 1 second crush, maybe once in 24 hours or no crush at all.
-They also cooperate and debate with people in mature way regarding Bugs on their Bugtracker (assisting them with bug research, providing them and helping them with Evidences/Solutions).
-Donations will be available but they reward nothing (everyone is equal).
-Vanilla Server only.

I'm not going to get into a flame war with smilkovpetko AKA killerduki as it's not worth the effort. Anyone interested in Crestfall and validating his opinions on their 'toxic' forums, anti-Chinese perspective, pay to win etc can actually check the forums here http://forums.crestfall-gaming.com/ and make their own minds up.

Ultimately you should know that there is a lot of competition out there for players on private servers and people will do their utmost to persuade you to join their preferred option. I do believe however, that people will make their own judgements based on the facts before them.

As Crestfall will not launch for 4 months, no-one, including me and duki, can actually say whether it will match the current hype. In the meantime, there is no reason why people should not play on Elysium or Kronos I/II or Rebirth. As a PvE player, I am awaiting Crestfall as nobody else is offering this as an option.

Hi Kenny!

We're fully aware that not every chinese player is a danger to the wealth and economy. However, it is no lie that most goldsellers come from china and in order to prevent this on our servers we have to ban chinese IP's and VPN's on our server.

Another issue is heavily allowing chinese to take over, causing most of the population be chinese. Unless they were international, it probably wouldn't be a issue. The "secondary" server necessarily won't be chinese only, but that would allow chinese to play as well. If we have a increasing amount of chinese who wish to play, @Asura will post a better article explaining this from an administrative point of view.


The current information we have is that only China would be blocked.

You all know that the Off-Topic Forum is suppose to be a place for everybody to chill down.
It's a place for almost anything else other than WoW, You can talk about anything you like as long as it doesn't break any of our forum rules.
You may express your opinion on a topic, however you can not post comments which have the sole purpose to cause an argument. Like the toxic comments in some of the topics @Antility made. You have the right to disagree with your fellow, however you are not free to attack/insult just because you don't like what he likes.
Simply if you don't like the topic, then ignore it.

Most of the topics here in off-topic forums not really helpful for the community. and if we get a lot of reports against a topic will result in disciplinary action, whether we agree or disagree. reported topics will be closed/moved/deleted.
