Lmao Forcerius, welcome to shooters. Can't expect it to be like an mmorpg.

Huh, Honestly i'm suprrised it's doing this bad, because blizzard is focused around a more casual type of game, and there are alot of casual gamers, although i think the top of those charts are games like COD and such.... Man how i miss those days of Halo 2.... Honestly i figured this was gonna be a moba, i gave my beta key's away so i didn't get to play it myself, and i honestly didn't have the effort to really look into this, more then it be shoved down my throat when i'm talking shit to my friends on B.net. I just don't understand why blizzard is targeting this playerbase of people over and over yet it's failing.... (Well exepct from hearthstone,)

Also a game is most likely only as good as how much porn is out there for it trololol, (I jest, have you seen wow?! WTF)

except I have more fun playing Team Fortress 2 than Overwatch.. nothing beats a scout jumping around people and slapping them with a baseball bat. ;)

I thought the only thing good from Overwatch was the fanmade porn videos...

I'm still waiting to play Battlefield 1 this fall anyway.. Overwatch gonna rip when that comes out... just like the warcraft movie. ... oh and Legion too.

There's no reason to avoid features from other genres. The best features should be combined. I want an MMO with quake like combat in a fantasy setting and merit based rewards like leveling from PVP alone or contesting valuable resources. MMO combat is lame and needs to be more fluid fast paced and epic.

Honestly i have not enjoyed any BF game since the first one, tried BF3, i guesst they smoked too much when they decided that you should join games via the web browser with a plugin and not have a server selector in game -.- Im probably also one of few that does not enjoy the "blood over the screen" effect and having that shit over actual hp that does not recover. Seems devs rather cater to kids and refuse to accept the fact that the average gamer is just getting older.

basically a starcraft MMO...

I still wanna see this happen considering WoW came from an RTS series.

That's what Firefall was supposed to be while Kern worked on it. Then he left and they genericized the shit out of it.

Ah, still not quite the vision I have. I want quake movement and weapons, but in a fantasy world with wizards and fireballs with epic combat on the scale of Dragonball Z. Except that kind of power would be end game of course. I want to start out as a pleb and advance to deity status as I progress, especially if its based on PVP alone. I doubt it will happen but I can dream.

And part of why i'm mentioning it is because I hope a dev with resources will pick up on this and make it a reality. I just don't have the resources or drive to try and accomplish that from nothing. So hopefully a well established company like Blizzard or Hi Rez will.

This idea is present in Skyforge. Of course, Skyforge is a game where you grind just so you can start grinding in preparation for a grind.
