Exactly. Because you two didn't actually flood the server with Spirits of Kirith. A unfair ban would have been to ban all three of you even though neither of you did anything wrong. The staff didn't do that.

This entire thread is the reason why Blizzard routinely locks banned accounts from forum posting. When you get banned from the game you should also have your forum posting privileges revoked. Basically the only thing you should be able to do is contact a GM privately or post a message in a forum specifically for banned members.

I think that I quite not understand something.
You have abused a bugged game mechanic and if you actually bothered to read ToS, that you have accepted when decided to join this server, you'd have known that there isn't any sort of "personal advantage" mentioned there.
You wasted time of Nostalrius' staff that had to clear the mess that you've caused. But you probably enjoy cleaning up after others, don't you? It's all just fun after all.
Whether every kind of abuse deserves a permanent ban is a subject of debate, however Raazi only excetuted currently existing rule. Rule that you in fact broke and now trying to blame big bad Raazi for doing his job.

Our accounts aren't linked to our forum accounts, so that'd a pretty unenforceable rule to anyone that knew how to game the system or posted prior to being banned. If they don't use the same name as their character, or account, you wouldn't know before the ban post was made.

And some bans look better on the public forum, it raises awareness. It also allows for the Devs to hear the community's views on undecided issues or whether or not the punishments are too harsh, which I feel that certain ones are too quickly executed with permanent bans.
